Rachel Pollock

Madcap Productions Puppeteer and Artist-in-Residence (1996-2000), as well as an accomplished storyteller and playwright, Rachel Pollock has guided children and adults in storytelling, writing and performance across 17 states. Published in Forensics Educator (2006-07) and Teaching Ideas for the Basic Communication Course (2007, 2009), her Storytelling Workshop qualified her for grants to research StoryCorps at the U.S. Library of Congress. Mrs. Pollock, M.A., works as a Speech Coach and Instructor of Communication and Theatre at Muskingum University in New Concord, Ohio.

Shannon Abel
A gifted writer and humorist, Shannon Abel formerly served as a house manager for a performing arts venue (1990-1995) and studied Disney's Quality Service principles at The Disney Institute in Orlando, Florida. Mrs. Abel served as a retail music store manager (1995-2006), where she led several seminars on customer service communication. She is currently serving in a sales generation position with Home Depot in Westerville, Ohio.
