Rachel Pollock and Shannon Abel launched StoryWorks in April, 2011, as a one-day artist-in-residency program for grades 3-8 to help extend the StoryCorps initiative into public and private schools, communities, and libraries.
Our primary mission is to help children tell and listen to life-stories in the context of oral history.
